Over 1,175 NY National Guard troops have been mobilized to "provide command and control and logistical support" in NYC, Long Island, the Hudson Valley and the Souther Tier according to the local NBC station in New York.
You will recall last year with the London Riots that were organized and incited on twitter and at one point Prime Minister David Cameron was even considering a ban on social networking and the article provides examples below of people planning to do and don't even express concern over law enforcement or the NY National Guard
IT is common to see people act foolish and highjack natural disasters to carry out criminal activity. During Katrina, the same thing happened and the Cops were told they couldn't do anything to stop citizens from ransacking stores. Police were even caught on tape looting a local Walmart but got away with it because they claimed they got permission from their superiors to take stuff for themselves.
There has also been threats of riots if Romney Wins the election. These threats have prompted the Department of Homeland Security(DHS) and Secret Service to monitor the situation and the Service was encouraging people to "self police" Twitter and report any offensive tweets to them.

IN the drill the storm strikes the East coast. This "storm" was modeled after the Hurricane of 1938 that was nicknamed the "Long Island Express" as it was a category 3 storm that hit Long Island and killed over 800 people and caused well over 5 billion dollars in damage.
The Hurricane that is named Sandy(ironically enough) that is projected to hit New Jersey(update: the Weather Network on my facebook posted a twitter photo of downtown Atlantic City and you can't even see the streets as they are covered in water) is being compared to the Long Island Express.
The article has a webpage from 1996 that has "texts of the simulated bulletins, forecasts, discussions and strike probabilities along with the hurricane's track were sent home with seminar attendees"... and they posted the images so you can see them..

The United Nations has no damn right or jurisdiction over American elections or any elections around the world. This is an example of how lawless this all has become and good for Texas for standing up to them as well...
