(Phil Robertson is of Duck Dynasty fame and he expressed his views on homosexuality by favoring the traditional man and women relationship so this got him in shit with A&E for expressing those views and thereby suspended him though you can say this does not violate the 1st amendment because it is a show on A&E but it illustrates the chilling effect across the board regarding free speech and that is disturbing)
Fans of the popular tv show Duck Dynasty are moving to boycott the American cable company A&E after it chose to fire Phil Robertson for expressing his christian values. His suspension is even more controversial as his comments did not appear on the show but in GQ magazine which his interview will be published next month.
The Duck call millionaire offended the LGBT community when he stated he didn't understand the "logic" behind homosexuality.
"It seems like, to me, a vagina--as a man--would be more desirable than a man's anus-Robertson told GQ magazine's Drew Magary. "That's just me. I'm just thinking: There's more there! She's got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I am saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical"
Robertson further drew ire for brining religion into the equation when he listed off a host of groups who according to a passage in the Bible "won't inherit the kingdom of God"
Robertson told GQ: "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around this woman and that woman and that woman and those men" he added a paraphrase to Corinthians 6:9 "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers- they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right"
A&E took offense with Robertson's remarks and basically punished him for expressing thoughts misinterpreted as hate speech. In reality, Robertson was just exercising his 1st amendment right to free speech.
Robertson has had trouble with A&E before because of their censorship of the word "Jesus" also many think led to his suspension not only spurred by his personal vies but his religious beliefs as well. Robertson claimed the network "inserted fake bleeps" during the family prayers "like someone had used profanity, but no one had used profanity"
It is clear A&E has launched an assault on free speech and religion. 10s of thousands of fans are already petitioning A&E to reconsider this move to fire Robertson. Others have started a boycott movement of the network "Until Phil Robertson is Put back on Duck Dynasty" and even a facebook page was made in light of a boycott and has well over half a million likes
Though A&E can fire whoever they want for whatever reasons-like many others in the establishment- brainwashing Americans by promoting anti-family, Anti-God agenda, while at the same time imposing a chilling effect on free speech through censorship

An example of how the MSM twisted his words around and made up the idea that he was comparing having sex with animals to gay people and the fact also is he never attacked gays as people but yet CNN made it look as if he was. All he did was list the sins in the Bible and never really singled out homosexual behavior which they the media were trying accuse him of and all CNN was doing was to smear and silence not tell the damn truth and here is something the media is leaving out of all of this in which Robertson said the following:
"Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate"
Which is true in a way but it also illustrates just how bad the mainstream media is and why everyone does not trust them anymore and are going to alternative sources of media like infowars, breitbart, drudge because of bullshit like this. Truly disgusting..
(BTW just to clarify: I myself have no issues with LGBT folks however it is one thing to disagree with someone like Robertson but to personally attack him for what he said is just not right and something I don't tolerate very well. Though my views are different from his I still respect him as a human being and I am tired of seeing people being attacked because of their religious beliefs because after all it is their right at the end of the day whether you like it or not)
