Manchin, speaking of the attack on the 2nd Amendment spearheaded by Senator Dianne Feinstein which is a bill that will restrict access to not only semi-auto weapons for Americans but also clips that hold more than 10 bullets. Senator Charles Schumer believes the gun issue is "at a tipping point... where we might get something done"
However one House Representative stood up for the 2nd Amendment. Louie Gohmert by stating: "Well the reason George Washington said: a free people should be an armed people.It ensures against the tyranny of the government, if they know that the biggest army is the American people. Once you start drawing the line, where do you stop?... Gun laws don't work"
You recall after the Batman shooting Feinstein called for similar Clinton era bans on assault weapons be reinstated by saying: "Who needs these military-style assault weapons? Who needs an ammunition feeding device capable of holding 100 rounds? These weapons are not for hunting deer- they're for hunting people"
and of course the other propaganda arm known as Hollywood is adding to this brainwashing by making the images of guns controversial, implying that the idea of a gun cannot be tolerated because of the Connecticut shooting. The Discovery channel actually cancelled American Guns after the perfectly timed attacks came from brainwashed morons on Facebook calling for the show to be canned by saying that people owning guns or buying them seem fun and glamorous and another lunatic stated that it is not appropriate to show "the program American Guns now? and etc...
So now all of a sudden the violence in Hollywood must be stopped because of the tragedy. On Monday globalist operative Piers Morgan tried to divert attention from a petition to deport him by tweeting about 2 firefighters who were murdered: "I don't care about petition to deport me. I do care about poor NY firefighters murdered/injured with an assault weapon today"
The man suspected in the murders was an ex-con who had served time for killing his grandma with a hammer and ex-cons are not allowed to own firearms by law. Various news reports say he used a rifle to kill the 2 men. Anti-Second amendment apologists like Piers Morgan are fond of using the term assault weapon to describe any sort of firearm.
Strict Gun laws like the 1994 Crime Act and Clinton's federal assault weapons ban did NOTHING to reduce crime and would not have done a damn thing to prevent the murders in New York City. Kelly Whitley of the NRA said back in 2002 that "Criminals get their guns from the black markey and stealing and not from federally licensed dealers"
More than 60,000 people have signed the petition to deport Morgan which was posted on the Whitehouse website by Infowars.com on Friday. The Obama administration has promised to address petitions receiving over 25,000 signatures within 30 days. the Infowars.com petition has surpassed that within 48 hours, which is incredible.
They had posted this petition to counter the corrupt establishment media's propaganda on the 2nd amendment in wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting in Connecticut. Following his disgraceful and completely unprofessional interview with Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America and his ad hominem personal attacks on Pratt's character, the establishment media made Morgan an informal leader for the anti-2nd amendment crowd
The petition, has as been explained, was not posted to deny Morgan protection under the First Amendment as ruled by the Supreme court
What the petition did however was draw attention to Morgan's effort to rob the American people of their right to possess firearms and shed light on the 2nd Amendment arguments that are ignored or dismissed by the corrupt corporate controlled mainstream media
This effort to take the guns away from law abiding Americans will convene next month when Congress gets back in session. Morgan will serve as the propaganda minister of the government plan to strip Americans of their sovereignty...
