Canada's Royal Mounted Police are using the tragic floods in the towns of High River, Alberta and Calgary, Alberta here in Canada to confiscate people's guns as you know parts of Southern Albetharta were hit very badly with floods as a result of a low pressure system that stalled in the area.
According to the Calgary Herald, the RCMP confiscated a huge amount of firearms under the excuse of controlling and storing them for safekeeping. "We just want to make sure all of those things are in a spot that we control, simply because of what they are"- Sgt. Brian Topham told the paper
But residents are outraged and they should be. One resident Brenda Lackey said "I find that absolutely incredible that they have , right to go into a person's belongings out of their home. When people find out about this there's going to be hell to pay"
Another resident said "It's just like nazi Germany, just taking orders" as they yelled at the Mounties preventing them from going into the south end of Calgary.
"This is the reason the U.S. has the right to bear arms" another resident Charles Timpano, said as he pointed at the group of Mounties blockading the town.
This move by the RCMP is similar to what happened after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005 as on September 8th the New Orleans Superintendent Eddie Compass ordered local police, U.S. National Guard Soldiers and Deputy U.S. Marshalls to take all civilian firearms.
Compass said at the time that "No one will be able to be armed. Guns will be taken. Only law enforcement will be allowed to have guns" and they were confiscated without warrants and with brutal force as in the case of the 58 year old New Orleans resident Patricia Konie was beaten by cops after she refused to surrender her revolver and the cops violated the 4th amendment as well.
Government time and time again has shown once again that it does not care about your natural rights especially when it comes to 2nd amendment and firearms. It will use crisis such the flooding in Alberta to disarm citizens as the incident here in Canada shows us..

War on Journalism: Establishment hack calls for Greenwald's arrest

Another mouthpiece for the establishment corrupt media has called for the US government to arrest Glenn Greenwald, who was the reporter who broke the revelations by Edward Snowden about the NSA domestic spy program.
NY Times Andrew Ross Sorkin, who is a business reporter, has stated he would arrest "Snowden and now I'd almost arrest Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who seems to be out there, he wants to help him get to Ecuador or whatever"
This piece of garbage of a journalist made these comments despite the fact that there is no evidence showing that Greenwald is helping Snowden in anyway. The London Gbyuardian reporter only helped Snowden going public by interviewing him. When he was called out for his comments, Sorkin tried to back pedal on twitter that he was just "raising other questions"
And his comments are even more ironic considering he has buddied up with Wall St. executives to make sure their side of the story on the economic crisis is told(and you can see the twitter exchanges as they are posted in the article).
This latest stunt on Greenwald comes after NBC's Meet the Press Anchor David Gregory had made similar comments that Greenwald "aided and abetted" Snowden asking him why he should not be charged with a crime(videos for both are provided)
However Greenwald wrote a bloody good scathing rant against the establishment press and the only reason they are after him is because they are bitter about not being real journalists:
"Some of what is driving this hostility from some media figures is personal bitterness. Some of it is resentment over my having been able to break these big stories not despite, but because of, my deliberate breaching of the conventions that rule their world.
But most of it what I have long criticized them for most: they are far more servants to political power than adversarial watchdogs over it, and what provokes their rage most is not corruption on the part of those in power(they don't care about that) but rather those who expose that corruption, especially when the ones bringing transparency are outside of, even hostile to, their incestuous media circles.
They're just courtiers doing what courtiers have always done: defending the royal court and attacking anyone who challenges or dissents from it. That's how they maintain their status and access within it. That's what courtiers to power,by definition, do"
I could not agree more with that statement and I applaud Greenwald for at least having the balls to expose what we already knew about the NSA illegally spying and for given Snowden a voice as well and I think Snowden is a bloody hero for doing what he did and letting the public know about the corruption going on in the US government regarding the NSA..

LA times reports Hastings was going into hiding prior to death

Despite FBI assertions to the contrary, Michael Hastings was indeed being investigated by the agency. In an email sent hours before his death, Hastings said his "close friends and associates" were being harassed by the FBI and he was going to "go off the radar for a bit" meaning going into hiding, The Los Angeles Times reported the email last night(Friday)
"Perhaps if the authorities arrive" at the news site Buzzfeed, they "maybe wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news-gathering practice or related journalism issues"-he wrote. The Editor of Buzzfeed Ben Smith added that Hastings told family and friends "he was concerned he was under investigation" for his journalism and Wikileaks confirmed that Hastings was being investigated by the FBI.
The Establishment corporate corrupt media is attempting to portray theories regarding the journalist's death as unfounded and irresponsible conspiracies. "Since Hasting's death early Tuesday, wild conspiracy theories have bloomed on the Internet, implying he was murdered by powerful forces wanting to silence him"- The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Thursday suggesting that Wikileaks is trying to exploit the journalist's death.
During a Reddit interview last year, Hastings said the military had repeatedly investigated him. "The Pentagon has launched three investigations into stories I've done over the past 18 months under the pretense of finding wrongdoing we were exposing. But the investigations were really about creating a Pentagon approved official document to criticize journalists they don't like"-He said
Hastings also talked about the government attempts at controlling the internet: "On one hand, we're already bombarded with so much government propaganda, it might be hard to notice"-he wrote. "But I think we'd definitely see a more direct targeting of certain communities within the U.S. with propaganda that was produced overseas. I think we'd also see is all sorts of disturbing online and internet initiatives produced by the government. The Pentagon is already trying to do this"
Prior to his death, Hastings was working on a story about Jill Kelly, the military socialite who had received messages from Paula Broadwell, the biographer who had the affair with former general and CIA director David Petraeus. Kelly believes that the FBI leaked her name on purpose to discredit her.

U.S House of Representatives Vote to legalize Hemp and how Agenda 21 is in full effect in Communist China

The United States house of representatives voted 225-200 on June 20th to legalize industrial farming of hemp fiber. Hemp is in the marijuana plant family and its fiber has been used to make many different things like paper, clothes and other products for thousands of years however it had been demonized since the beginning of the manufactured fraud that is the drug war in the United States and does not even produce the THC chemical found in marijuana
The amendment's sponsor Jared Polis(D-Colo.) noted in the congressional debates that "George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew hemp. The first American flag was made of hemp. And today U.S. retailers sell over $300 million worth of goods containing hemp- but all of that hemp is imported, since farmers can't grow it here. The federal government should clarify that states should have the ability to regulate academic and agricultural research of industrial hemp without fear of federal interference. Hemp is not marijuana, and that the very least we should allow our universities-the greatest in the world-to research the potential benefits and downsides of this important agricultural commodity"
Recent polls show that the majority of Americans want marijuana to be legalized along with hemp. So this is a positive step in the right direction and hopefully one of these days the useless drug war will be ended once and for all because in reality

While the vicious tyrant was obsessed with "industrialization" on China from the top down, the latest group of communist thugs are posing similar ideology but what is being dubbed "urbanization" and it appears their rural population will be forced to submit to this horrific atrocity whether they like it or not- all under the guise of their own damn benefit from the propaganda the communist party is spewing out.
According the NY Times, 250 million rural residents will be brought into cities within the next 12 years and others like the Guardian in the UK has reported about 400 million being in the crosshairs of the planned cities being erected all across China and the dictator's "constitution" states that all land in China is owned collectively which means that the state has all control over property rights and the conflicts between farmers and the authoritarian trash Communist chinese is becoming more frequent.
Amnesty International meanwhile reported last year that at least 41 chinese people set themselves on fire from 2009-2011 in protest of this horrific land grab and the numbers are probably higher than that but given the Orwelllian censorship, the rest of the world and the Chinese people are left in the dark as to what these pieces of shit are doing
And of course this all part of the United Nations Agenda 21 along with fake environmental policies never minding China has some the worst air quality in the world because they have no environmental standards when it comes to burning coal like we do here in the west though there have been efforts to shut down power plants especially here in Ontario, Canada where they bragged in the media about shutting 11 of 19 coal plants here in Ontario down but yet China is building them every other week.. talk about hypocrisy for sure...

Investigative Journalist Michael Hastings dead, evidence leading to assassination

Revelations that investigative journalist at Rolling Stone Michael Hastings was working on a story about the CIA before his death had contacted a Wikileaks lawyer about being under investigation by the FBI hours before his car exploded into flames (pictures provided) claims that the 33 year old was murdered. Hastings died early Tuesday morning in Hollywood when his car allegedly hit a tree at high speed. The Los Angeles Coroner's office has not yet been able to identify body as Hastings because it badly burned.
Skeptics of the official narrative have shown eyewitness accounts that state that Hasting's Mercedes"exploded". Images of the vehicle appear to show more damage in the rear, around the fuel tank, than the front leading to speculation that a car bomb which ignited the fuel could be responsible for the incident.
Freelance journalist Jim Stone points out: "No matter how you slice this particular pie, a Mercedes is not just going to explode into flames without a little assistance. Car fires in new cars happen for three main reasons- running the engine out of oil, or running the engine out of coolant, or after an absolutely huge mangling accident, having the hot side of the battery short out against the frame before it reaches the fuse panel. And for all 3 of those normal reasons, which account for virtually all car fires in modern cars, the fire would have started in the engine compartment, progressed slowly, and scorched the hell out of the paint before ever reaching the gas tank. That clean paint is the tell all, Michael Hastings was murdered, and the rest is detail" and Stone also questioned why a white sheet was put over the vehicle(image provided)
The Questions surrounding Hastings death and the precise "nature" of the "accident" are given more weight as the journalist made enemies within the FBI and CIA. "Michael Hastings contacted Wikileaks lawyer Jennifer Robinson hours before he died, saying the FBI was investigating him"-according to the official Wikileaks twitter yesterday and the LA Weekly reported that Hastings had the CIA within his sights and was going to release an article exposing them.
The Obama administration and the Justice Department have openly claimed the god give authority to assassinate any American citizen anywhere in the world if they are deemed a national security threat. A number of Americans have been murdered as a result of this policy so it is really that crazy to not to suggest that Hastings was a mere victim of this doctrine???
The New York Daily News reported that Hastings had received numerous death threats before his demise. Following his role in bringing down Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, Hastings was told by a McChyrstal staffer "We will hunt you down and kill you if we don't like what you write"

"Michael Hastings contacted Wikileaks lawyer Jennifer Robinson hours before he died, saying the FBI was investigating him"-according to the official Wikileaks twitter yesterday and the LA Weekly reported that Hastings had the CIA within his sights and was going to release an article exposing them.
The Obama administration and the Justice Department have openly claimed the god give authority to assassinate any American citizen anywhere in the world if they are deemed a national security threat. A number of Americans have been murdered as a result of this policy so it is really that crazy to not to suggest that Hastings was a mere victim of this doctrine???
The New York Daily News reported that Hastings had received numerous death threats before his demise. Following his role in bringing down Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, Hastings was told by a McChyrstal staffer "We will hunt you down and kill you if we don't like what you write"
Hastings in is the not the first to go after the corrupt establishment. Andrew Brietbart was about to release stuff about globalist puppet Obama prior to the election that was damning before he collapsed and died under mysterious circumstances or Gary Webb, who was a Pullitzer prize winning author who exposed the CIA's role in the drug trade "committed" "suicide" after shooting himself in the head twice
So anyone who questions this will be demonized as a "conspiracy theorist" while journalist and others who pose a threat to the military industrial complex will continue to die in bizarre "accidents" that reek of foul play

How safe is your organic food??

There has been a recall for certified organic berries sold at Costco. According to the CDC(Center for Disease Control) at least 106 people in 8 states contracted hepatitis A, which is liver disease that can last for weeks or even months and can actually be deadly, after they ate Townsend Farms frozen berries that were bought at the box store retailer. The item in question was Organic Antioxidant Blend Frozen Berry and Pomegranate Mix- was apparently purchased in April. The CDC says that Costco removed the item from its shelves and Townsend Farms voluntarily recalled the item but what about those who certify food organic? What is their response?
Rather than rigorously test organic crops for lethal pathogens resulting from improper composting of manure, authorities in the United States and Canada continue to rely on paperwork to prove the safety of these products and organic activists like Christine Bushway- who is quoted as saying the following: "Today's organic consumer is well informed. They have made the connection between quality of life and their own personal responsibility as for how it's going to play out for them. They understand the risks- the effects of hormones, GMOs, antibiotics, and pesticides- and that is why they are buying organic" by the way Bushway is the Executive Director of the Organic Trade Association and this quote was from Naturally Savvy August 2012- are okay with this without considering that it's actually untested organic products, and not thoroughly tested genetically modified food(GM) varieties, that may pose a risk.
You heard this right, organic crops are not tested. They are not tested to ensure things like synthetic pesticides are avoided or things like feces are kept out of the organic food chain. This is based on faith like record checking and a hope that nothing happens and it is this lack of scientific rigor that has led to the Townsend fiasco. Sure we bitch about GMOs not being tested enough and the health issues associated like cancer and infertility but shouldn't we test all food regardless if their GMO or not to make sure they are safe to eat??
I can understand if you see something that is labeled certified organic that the term means it was tested after all is that what the term like light bulbs being 100w or motor oil that is certified 10W30. But in the organic industry according to this article it does it is not what it means in the organic industry.
In response to this scandal, supporters of the status quo in the American organic industry are trying to distance themselves as much as they can between certified organic and food safety, as if to make the excuse that these are totally separate issues when in reality they are not. "We don't see that organic standards necessarily overlap with food safety standards"-said Brenda Book with the Washington State Department of Agriculture(WSDA) . "One thing organic certification should not be confused with... is a food safety standard"
Book sits in a chair that was once occupied by Miles V. McEvoy, the current Deputy Administrator of the USDA's National Organic Program(NOP). Back when he held Book's position with the WSDA, to his credit, one of the few people in America doing testing on organic food and when he brought is commitment to science with him when he moved to the USDA in Washington, DC in 2008. He tried to do something that was unprecedented at the national level: to announce the beginning of testing to ensure prohibited substances and excluded methods were not being used on organic farms as per USDA NOP 205.670. It was something the Consumers Union(the policy of Consumer Reports) had called for more than a decade earlier.
Unfortunately with most good ideas brought to Capitol Hill, it took a long time for McEvoy to get others to act on his promise. The final program was so watered down to only include a small fraction (5%) of the more than $33 billion dollars worth of organic crops the USDA certifies every year, with little and likely zero testing of foreign organic crops, like the one's implicated in the current hepatitis outbreak and which provide the majority of the organic industry the USDA certifies for sale every year in America. And yet in response to this, apologists like Book keep making excuses like "organic certifiers are concerned with prohibited materials side of contamination over the microbial variety" as if to imply McEvoy's efforts to improve organic certification more scientific if someone uses illegal pesticides. You would think also that the USDA would clamp down on the prohibited use of pesticides when people pay huge amounts of money for organic food but shouldn't we also expect to make sure organic food has no fecal material in it???
The irony is insane. Organic activists, those who are registered with the IRS as non-governmental organizations or foundations spend millions of tax free money on anti-GMO initiatives which is fine but they fail to see that the other threat to our food supply is untested organic food as well which could have natural bacteria contaminating it but yet want all GMOs to be tested which is fine but feels rather hypocritical when they want GMOs to be tested but not organic crops to make sure there is no contamination of any kind fecal or pesticidal.
Now the author of this article actually was an organic farmer and USDA contract inspector and while the USDA organic certification has always been about food safety it is not enforced enough and while everyone attacks GMOs (I know I have been one of them because of Monsanto's bogus lawsuits against farmers who ended up with GM organisms in their crops when they didn't even grow them in the first place and that is not right at all and the whole 9 yards) but do not want to improve upon how to keep organic food safe. It almost seems that the powers at be in the organic industry have put their blinders on and have showing their true colors in the sense when it has come to this issue and I find that very disturbing..
Anyway regardless of what we think of GMOs and organic food, I think we should all be in agreement that any crop whether GMO or not needs to be tested at a scientific level so that we can make better choices at the grocery store and be better informed and that is all I and this article was trying to point out..
