Fukushima Radiation reaches West Coast of Canada

Researchers have announced that radioactive isotopes from the Fukushima nuclear disaster have been discovered in seawater west of Vancouver off the western coast of Canada, confirming predictions of radiation would hit the west coast by 2014.

These findings were announced at the annual American Geophysical Union's Ocean Sciences metting in Honolulu yesterday.

"John Smith, a research scientist at Canada's Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, told the AGU meeting that since 2011 he and colleagues had measured a radioactive plume from nuclear complex at ocean monitoring stations west of Vancouver. Fukushima's radiation reached Canada before the US on the powerful Kuroshio Current. It's predicted to flow south and then circle back to Hawaii" reported Planet Save

Samples of cesium-134 and cesium-137, which has a half life of more than 30 years at least, were found by researchers. Good news though these samples were well below safety limits though these were increased by authorities in the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster. The full scale of this disaster won't be felt until 2016 when the cesium is expected to peak

Yesterday the Toyko Electric Power Co.(TEPCO) admitted that levels of radiation measured in seawater from around the destroyed nuclear reactor were "significantly undercounted" just the latest in a long list of history of officials downplaying a major threat and health concern

A few weeks agon on Feb. 5 a Russian news site, KM.ru posted an interview with Gen. Leonid Ivashov, who was the former head of the Russian Ministry of Defense and current president of the Academy of Geopolitical Studies. The Interview which of course was ignored by the corporate whore press in the United States and Europe due to the frank examination of the EuroMaiden revolt in the Ukraine which is all being run by the United States state department and EU ministers in an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected government of President Viktor Yanukovych.

Ivashov said the conflicts going on in the Ukraine and Syria are "a new type of war" that began as a informational and even a psyop operation. EU officials and Secretary of State and member of the order at Yale through Skull and Bones John Kerry, Ivashov said: "very conscientiously and scrupulously studied under and continue to study the doctrine of Dr. Goebbels" who was the Nazi's Reich Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany. 50 of Bloomberg's mayors quit after gun confiscation plan leaked

Nearly 50 mayors jumped the ship on former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" campaign over allegations the group's goal was to confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens according to one former member.

It was reported in the Poughkeepsie Journal, that the mayor of Poughkeepsie released a statement coming clean about the true nature of their intentions which was gun confiscation

John Tkazyik(the Poughkeepsie Mayor) said: "Under the guise of helping mayors facing a crime and drug epidemic, MAIG intended to promote confiscation of guns from law-abiding citizens" confirming suspicions of many about the group he also said: "Nearly 50 pro-Second Amendment mayors left the organization. They left for the same reason I did"

And he is not the first one to voice allegations. Back in 2007, the mayor of Williamsport, PA also said she left after witnessing "dubious" attempts to undermine the second amendment. "I have learned that the coalition may be working on issues which conflict with legal gun ownership, and that some actions on your behalf are dubious" then Williamsport Mayor Mary Wolf wrote in a letter to Bloomberg himself

And also just last year, during a Mothers Demand Action (a gun control group which merged with MAIG in December 2013) Austin Texas Councilman Mike Martinez singled out a protestor for carrying a sign that said "Stop the Gun Ban" and told him "... there is no gun ban currently, but because of the work we're doing here today, we will make your sign legitimate shortly, so you hang to that"

Since Sandy Hook, there have been many attempts by the US government to curtail firearms ownership and this news comes at a time when American gun owners are wary of how in jeopardy their right to bear arms is.
