The Obama administration's wonderful(sarcasm) Department of Agriculture has released nutrition standards for "competitive" foods and has outlawed many snacks that are deemed unhealthy by the corrupt nanny state U.S. federal government. According to a report in the Hill, "Regular Soda is out, though high schoolers have access to diet versions" there you go- the government is recommending that kids drink this crap laden with the aspartame which is genetically altered e.coli bacteria. It is the same story the government does not know what the left hand is doing or maybe they do know. Aspartame is very bad even the FDA has failed to approve it for nearly 2 decades. Despite all of this more than 6,000 products contain this toxin and is consumed by well over 100 million people all over the world, contain aspartame: including diet pop, some chewable vitamins, sugar free cough syrup drops, sweeteners, yogurt and other food products.
Aspartame can cause migraines, headaches, vision problems, nausea and vomitting, abdominal and joint pain, heart changes, depression, memory loss, seizures and even brain cancer
according to nautral health Doctor Joesph Mercola: "More than these complaints the FDA, there are also 10,000 documented reports of aspartame side effects and over 900 published studies on the health hazards"
So now the USDA is getting rid of potato chips and candy out of schools and replacing them with food that has aspartame in it and as noted has caused all kinds of health problems..
Doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.. I can tell you from experience I had this yogurt that was called Astro a number of years ago when I was a high school student and as soon as I was finished eating it I got on the bus and instantly felt nauseated.. I really don't understand how people can drink diet Pepsi or diet related pop or even yogurt that has this in there.. given all the facts listed here in the article..

Another example of the war on fresh organic raw milk. Despite the fact they are all over Europe, the UK is going after raw milk supplier Hook & Son for selling raw milk from vending machines in the Selfridges supermarket(Hook & Son had signed a private agreement with Selfridges to do just that). This is the pretext for the government to make fresh organic raw milk illegal.. Why does government insist on promoting toxins in our food like aspartame and water(like sodium fluoride which here in Canada is banned in many cities including Windsor,Ontario, Thunder Bay(where I live) Calgary, Alberta to name a couple examples) and GMOs that cause cancer and infertility while trying to ban a fresh healthy product known as raw milk???(has a screen shot of a newspaper article regarding this story)
